The internet is currently a high-entropy “word soup” filled with conflicting claims and AI-generated misinformation. Traditional fact-checking is too slow and human-dependent to cope. The Truth API solves this using Adversarial Dredging at Web Scale.
We don’t “fact check” by looking for a single true source. We fact check by “mining” the web with Molds that explicitly look for Contradictions. Every news story is run through a “Detective Mold” that extracts the core claims and their evidence. If two claims conflict, the system triggers an adversarial loop: a “Prosecutor Llama” finds the flaw, a “Defense Llama” finds the source, and a “Gavel Llama” reaches a verdict.
The primary weapon in the Truth API is the Evidence Slot. In our Molds, the VERDICT is forbidden to exist without a corresponding EVIDENCE_URL or SOURCE_TEXT slot.
By using “Statistical Gravity” and high-pressure Anchors, we force the model to “pin” its answer to a specific coordinate in the context. If the model cannot fill the Evidence Slot, the Gavel rejects the result. We have effectively “lobotomized” the model’s ability to hallucinate by making the “Price of Admission” for an answer a verifiable citation.
The Truth API acts as a Consensus Engine. For any given event, it doesn’t just read one article; it reads 1,000. It deploys a “Savant Swarm” where each model extracts a single data point (Who, What, Where, When).
The system then performs Majority Voting on the extracted data. This “Brute Force Truth” turns the chaos of individual biases into a stable statistical signal. If 950 models see the same 7-character “Network” failure and 50 see “Auth,” the Truth API filters the noise and publishes the signal. We have industrialized the “Consensus of Reality.”
The application is a Browser Plugin for Reality. As you read the web, the Truth API runs in the background. It highlights claims and displays the “Dredge Trace” (the evidence found and the adversarial contradictions resolved). It doesn’t tell you “Don’t read this”; it shows you the “Cognitive Scaffolding” beneath the text. It turns the web from a collection of “Beliefs” into a map of “Verifiable Traces.”
